Future Skills Institute (FSI) provides young adults betwen the ages of 16 - 24 with community-based career and education counseling services, job readiness and job placement assistance. FSI’s goal is to help young adults obtain the 21st century skills needed to secure jobs that provide self-sustaining wages, especially in high growth areas of the labor market.
FSI work-readiness services include résumé writing, interviewing skills, networking techniques, and workplace etiquette. We also provide skill-building workshops on problem-solving, communication, time management, and Microsoft digital literacy. Additionally, we can assess job aptitude and interests, facilitate internship and job shadowing opportunities, and provide on-the-job support. All FSI services and resources are free to young adults.
